About Jiya Designs
Jiya Designs was founded in March of 2009 by Rachna Kapur. Rachna has been a jewelry enthusiast all her life and found a way to design exquisite jewelry at reasonable prices. From traveling the globe, Rachna has been witness to a lot of poverty, which has made her look for ways to contribute to charity in every way that she can.
In 2007, Rachna founded a networking group which combines social networking with charity work (www.nesp-usa.com), through her organization she has helped raised thousands of dollars for various charity organizations that include Keep A Child Alive, City Harvest, Susan Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, and many others. Once Rachna decided to form Jiya Designs she figured that she could help people while making beautiful jewelry, therefore ten percent of all Jiya Designs jewelry sales are donated to charity.
